Really nice model. I wanted to make a replicator but didn't really know where to start. What program did you use to make it?

i made it in cinema 3d. but you can do it in any 3d prog. the texture i made with photoshop. so all details are photoshopped. when you build one brick, you just have to bring them in the right position. it's like playing with lego bricks... . i really start with the "wings" on the site of the replicator. then the main body, front legs and than the legs in the back. you can animate everything on it. really simple without bones. just null objects.

I like this, but I wish someone couls put the episodes on Youtube or other video websites so I can see these metal crawlers in action
